@drewtuten1562 Don't be absurd. This has been going on, since before McConnell was born. During Lincoln's time, naming a big contributor post master general, was the way it was done, not an anomaly. Corporate money has been in our politics for as long as we've had corporations in the US. It is just worse now, because of SCOTUS.

@newstarcadefan Nah, all we need is a simple law, limiting campaign contributions, and legally stating corporations are not people, with the rights of citizens.

The problem here is, the corporations aren't just "suspending donations" to Republicans, they are suspending all political donations, including to Democrats. While I'd love to see all campaign contributions legally capped, to punish both sides, when only one erred, seems wrong.
