@edmundooliver7584 Can you not see the difference between, being asked to fight to protect your own nation, and being conscripted to invade another nation, in a war of conquest?

Notice how they said most of the mass conscription efforts are occurring in highly Muslim regions. Putin doesn't care what happens to these people. These young men dying are a plus to him.

@turkeysandwiche8552 Those are not 'one mad dictator' problems. Those result from centuries old tribal animosities and religious zealots. Even Syria is not truly the fault of one man, but the brutality of all Baathist regimes, and the ancient Shiite-Sunni conflict.

@Kitty_19396 None of US soldiers, drafted to fight in Vietnam, were sent in untrained, and ill equipped. And they were sent in to help defend South Vietnam, from the Vietcong. Russia is throwing raw draftees, untrained, and ill supplied, at a war the whole world condemns.
