I don't know if you buy from Amazon. But, you can set up an Amazon account to give a certain percentage of the price of a purchase to a charity. I have mine set up to donate to Planned Parenthood. It's an easy way to help a good cause.

@eggsbenedict2251 :Your comment shows your ignorance. A lot of women, seeking an abortion are married, already have children, and are using birth control which fails. They get an abortion because they, and their husband, cannot afford to properly care for another child. Regardless, as it is not your body, it is none of your concern whether or not sex occurs outside a marriage, or as part of a loving marital unit.

@shade38211 And what about the mental state of children, whose parents cannot afford them, and resent them all their lives. My older sister died a day after she was born, so I never met her. It did not negatively affect me at all, nor would finding out my mom had aborted a previous fetus have bothered me. But, the fact my mom cared more about her hobbies, than me, did have a negative impact. If people have more children, than they can easily raise, it negatively affects them all. It is much better to terminate a pregnancy that would damage the family.

@BillySBC That's the way it used to be. Gynecologists did a D&C, in the office. But, they were so harassed by the antiabortion lunatics, they stopped. Many hospitals and clinics are owned by the Catholic church, which never allowed abortions to be performed, even to save the life of the patient. The answer is to have the federal government pass a law, requiring every medical clinic or hospital, with an OBGYN, to provide abortions regardless of who owns the clinic. You're correct, it should be treated like any other medical procedure.

@swabby913 But, until the fetus is separated from the host, it isn't a living breathing human being. If you feel so strongly, then you have the right to continue the pregnancy in your own body. You should not have the right to tell others what to do with theirs.

Keith Hoss How does that help the woman who dies in childbirth? The very places, that make abortion difficult, are the ones that have the worst maternal mortality rates. It is really sick that some people care more about something the size of a marble, that a living breathing human being.

What a hero Shelly is. It is truly a shame these antiabortion zealots are not classified as terrorists, as they do harass and threaten good people, and are trying to terrorize women. How would they feel if atheists surrounded their churches, and harassed them as they went to worship? Shelly is a very good woman, combating evil the best she can.

@Colvera19 Have you read your holy book in the original language? If you did, or read a decent translation, you'd know abortion is required prior to putting a pregnant woman to death. Nowhere, in your book, is abortion forbidden. It was evil men who decided to forbid abortion, much much later.

@vladtheinhaler8940 No, one side is trying to force their religious beliefs on others, and the other side is saying it is the pregnant female's choice. No pro-choice person ever tried to force anyone to have an abortion. We don't show up at OBGYN's offices, yelling at women to abort. No pro-choice advocate has ever killed an OBGYN, to prevent them delivering a baby, or has bombed a maternity ward.

@swabby913 1. There is no such thing as an unborn child, any more than there is such a thing as an undead corpse. 2. Males force or coerce females into sex all the time, but the pains and dangers of pregnancy never falls on those males.

@MrMatt531 They are different. Just because one thing has the potential of becoming another thing, doesn't make it that other thing yet. A vase could be broken, but that doesn't mean it isn't whole. You will die, but would be very upset if people tried to bury you alive, or embalm you before you die.

@vladtheinhaler8940 Did you know that they developed a male birth control pill, that was actually more effective than the female version. It doesn't have the dangerous complications of migraines, clotting or cancer, that female BCP do. But, it slightly lowers the man's sex drive, so men won't use it. The main circumstance, that drives women to get abortions, are aggressive and irresponsible men.
