  1.  @inquisitorsteele8397  Why did al Assad invite such murderous regimes in? To assist in his ethnic cleansing of the Kurds and the Sunni majority. Al Assad is a member of a Shiia minority, the Alawites, who have brutally oppressed the Sunni majority for a century. He got aid from Russia, who does anything it can, to have access to warm water ports, and the Shiia Iranians. This is just a continuation of the Shiite vs. Sunni aggression that has been going on, since the death of their prophet.

  2.  Horacio Spinelli  The Syrian "government" of the dictator al Assad, also says they did not commit genocide, or use chemical weapons against their own people. The Syrian people tell a different story.

  5.  @WeAreItt  It was not the nation of Syria, but the Alawite dictator, and oppressor of the Sunni majority, Kurds and Yazidis, that asked the Iranian proxies for help. The US came in to prevent genocide.
