@craigcrawford6595 When you combine rank choice voting, and a jungle primary, as Alaska has done, party allegiances become far less important, because the moderates and centrists, within a party, have a chance. As US elections are now, each party tends to choose the most extreme candidate. I used to think RCV was too complicated to be worth it.. But, having seen how it worked in Alaska, I'm convinced it is the best path.
