  1. The people don't have a lot of choice. Both parties have moved to dangerous extremes, that the vast majority of citizens do not agree with. And rather than work for the good of the middle class, both parties just try to generate hatred against the other, and serve the will of special interest groups. But really, do you think the current coalition, in the Knesset, is any better? How are they working for the people, when all their effort is spent appeasing Ra'am? When government does not work to benefit the populace, and the high court goes against the wishes of the majority, unrest follows.

  2. I assume Barnette's tweet, is based on Mohammed taking a little nine year old child as one of his wives. Or, it might be based on the continuing practice of selling young girls, as additional wives, to old men, in Muslim countries. But, Islam is not the only religion that forces little girls into the marriage bed. Look at the original principles of LDS. Fundamentalist Mormons still take multiple wives, many just girls. Child marriages are common throughout the south. In Pennsylvania, a girl as young as 15 can marry with parental consent. If she really is against children being forced into marriage, she could promise to bring legislation, to prevent girls younger than 18 marrying, regardless of parental consent.
