We'll see, it's doubtful that McAuliffe will win. Youngkin is an old school country club Republican, who is spouting the Trump line to win. McAuliffe might have stood a chance, if he hadn't tried to curry favor with the teacher's union, by stating parents should have no say, in what their children are taught. That stupid statement made him drop in the polls. Typically, Virginia votes for the governor from the opposite party of the president. The only recent time that didn't happen, was when McAuliffe won last time. But, Cuccinelli was a terrible, homophobic candidate, which is probably why there were four times as many votes for the Libertarian, as votes separating the two main party candidates. This time, there is no real Libertarian candidate, to siphon off the votes of those conservatives, who can not abide Youngkin. I'd be surprised if Youngkin did not win.
