  1. How would the imposter know your name and have the right plate number? I've heard of women raped by taxi drivers. Why would they be any safer? The problem is not Uber or Lyft, but users who don't use common sense.

  2. My daughters always ask the driver who they are there for. Their names are unique enough nobody could ever guess them. They then send the other one text as they get in.

  3. 1. Taxi drivers have raped riders, using taxis does not make you safe. 2. Ride shares are cheaper and more convenient. All you have to do is check the plate, and don't tell them your name, ask them who they are here for.
