@kam2894 Russians may have died because the Soviets murdered or transported kulaks, and installed inefficient collectives, but not in the millions. But, the USSR not only collectivized Ukrainian farms, but sent soldiers to take any food, Ukrainian families might have stored for the winter. Because all their food was stolen from them, Ukrainians did die in the millions. And then, Russia sent Russians, to occupy Ukrainian homes left empty by that genocide.

While the English policy, of turning tenant farmers off the land for fleece sheep, made the Irish turn to potatoes for sustenance, the British did not go door to door, stealing every last crumb they had. It was a potato blight, not human action, that caused the Irish Famine.

Sean Hardman Russia has Belarus on its side. Their dictator would have been overthrown last year, after sham elections, if not for Putin sending the Russian army to attack protestors.
