  1.  @mikehankins4513  I don't want to segregate everyone, based upon how they look or identify, but I do want sensible gun laws. Nobody is talking about accidental gun discharge, we are discussing the very intentional killing of other human beings, with a tool designed for one purpose, killing. A different large, former British colony, Australia, has 0.15 gun homicides per 100,000 residents, Canada has 0.52, and the US has 4.46. Yes, there are a few countries with higher gun homicide rates, but they are mostly violent Central American countries where drug cartels rule. The country most like us is Canada, and we should have a similar homicide rate.

  2.  @thatoneguy8715  No, this is proof that we either need a national gun control law, or we put up checkpoints at every state border, and search any car for weapons coming in from states, where gun laws are lax.

  4.  Brian Jones  Is Indiana a Democratic area? Is Ohio? Is Texas? In truth, these mass shootings happen around the country, in red areas and blue. You seem to have a very selective memory.

  6.  El Ohwell  Texas has mass shootings. Remember the one in WalMart, where the cops had such a hard time identifying the shooter, because so many were armed? Armed civilians didn't stop the mass murder.
