  1. This is not news. I know people who made the decision, in the 1960s, to not have children, because of environmental reasons. My parents only had two children, in the 1950s, because they saw overpopulation was a problem. I made the same decision for myself, in the 1980s. Of course we all have college educations (medicine, science and engineering). Less educated people don't give the environment a thought.
