  1. Why do newscasters keep asking how it could be a close race in Virginia? Have they never been to Virginia? Sure, there is the beltway part, where most are well educated and work for government institutions, and are very well off. But, there is also the hillbilly type part where people live in homes so old, an indoor toilet had to be added, or in trailer parks, where the owner keeps raising the fees. Go down to the southern part of the state, and you meet the salt-of-the earth people, with only one tooth in their head. (I don't know if it is due to bad dental care or meth use, but there are a lot of toothless 20 and 30 somethings down there.) They don't have educations, they don't have good jobs, and they want someone to blame. Autocrats don't often rise to power, in countries where everyone is doing well. If you want to defeat Trump and his cult, you have to do something to give hope to the bubbas. Dis former president Clinton all you want, he knew how to do that.
