  1.  @srunnion8276  Yes, black and Hispanic people are not vaccinating at quite the same rate as whites, but it is not a huge difference. And if you break down vaccination by who you voted for in 2020, there is a much greater difference between those who voted for Trump vs. Biden, than there is between whites and POC. The media has recognized the slightly lower vaccination rate of POC, and is trying to convince them to get vaccinated.

  3. The unvaccinated, not any particular race, are responsible for this recent wave. It's true that black people make up 9% of the vaccinated in Texas, while they are 12% of the state, so they are not doing what they should at the same rate as others. Nevertheless, more of the unvaccinated, in Texas, are not black. Yes, children under 12 cannot yet get vaccinated, so we, who can, must get vaccinated to protect them, regardless of our ethnicity.
