No, a vice president having classified documents, is part of his job. He needs to be aware of all threats to the nation. Sadly, elected officials walk off with documents, that should have been returned, all the time. The problem only arises, when government requests for return are ignored, and obstructed.

Do you think that the only reason anyone looks at classified documents, is to declassify them? He never made the fake claim, that he'd declassified them, with his mind, like a certain documents thief.

@jenkem4464 So, when did the National Archives request Biden return documents? Did he obstruct their return, and have lawyers perjure themselves, or did he just return them the minute he realized they were in his possession?

A lot of people are writing there is a problem with document control, that the documents Biden inadvertently walked off with should have been noticed missing much sooner. In Trump's case, the new administration realized many important documents were missing, and requested their return almost as soon as Trump scurried off to Florida. It just took a year and a half to realize he wouldn't comply. What was wrong with the administration, that replaced Obama/Biden, that they never requested the documents be returned?
