  1. US immigration policy if far more liberal than the Canadian policy. If the US had policy identical to what Canada has, none of these people at our southern border would be allowed in. They are economic migrants, without the skills that Canada requires. We do have a problem in the US. Just because I strongly dislike the way Trump's administration has gone about solving the problem, does not make it go away. If we had as strict an immigration policy as Canada has, we'd probably not have this problem.
