  1. No, the court would be expanded, over and over, until we have hundreds of justices. A much better idea is to have justices serve a set term, so that a president gets to appoint the same number of justices each term they serve. Also, it should be mandatory that all appointments receive a hearing and vote. It should not be up to the head of the Senate.
