  1. Actually, the US did not enslave them. They were purchased from the people who enslaved them, mostly Arabs and black Muslims. (They would not sell their co-religionists, so the slaves they sold to whites were Naturalists and Christians.) Nor did the US invent slavery. Slavery has been around for at least thousands of years. Look at the writings of the Sumerians, the ancient Egyptians, the ancient Greeks, the ancient Persians, and the Romans. If you read what the Romans wrote about the British and Scandinavian tribes, they also kept slaves.

  2. Justin Jehoshaphat, thank you for pointing out the truth. I'm old enough to remember when the Egyptian, Arafat, appropriated the name Palestinian for the Arabs. Most of the Arabs in Israel are from Egypt, Syria, and Iraq and have no connection to the land. There has to be a reason that the UN changed the definition of refugee, just for the Arabs who claim to have lived in Israel, from someone who has lived in a country at least 20 years to 5. The real question is why, when far more Jews were kicked out of Arab countries like Yemen, Jordan, Iraq, Algeria and Tunis, they were absorbed into the Israeli population; yet 70 years later the Arabs are still considered refugees. I also wonder why our news never covers the countless Israelis killed while working, shopping, eating out or taking a walk in a forest, yet if a terrorist is shot it is a cause celeb.
