Yes, the whole charge is rather vague. Someone, not a major player in the family, wondered how dark the baby might be. They didn't say that a dark baby was a bad thing, they just wondered. I wondered the same thing, when my daughter was pregnant, because her husband is black. I didn't regard having dark skin a bad thing, I just wondered. He actually has lighter skin than I do, blue eyes, and dark curly hair, straighter than mine. He has his father's nose, eyebrows, ears and sex, and has dark auburn hair, but otherwise looks like a clone of his mother, the same eyes, mouth, shape of face and expressions. He's a very cute little boy, but might have been cuter with darker skin. The person wondering about their child, might have been thinking that darker skin would be better, than the easily burned skin of his ginger father.
