You need to pass a basic test, to get any civil service job. Why is there not a civics test, required of any presidential candidate?

When did it become controversial to support the existence of the Constitution? All lawmakers must swear to support the Constitution, merely to aver its right to exist should be perfunctory. How can any Republican not repudiate Trump's call to tear up the Constitution?

@theheretic3764 But since all allegations of "massive fraud" have been well debunked, any further statement is based upon a false premise. Even when there was actual fraud, and violence, used to take the presidency from Al Gore, he did not advocate destruction of the Constitution. Trump's statement would be like his breaking into your house, and shooting you dead, in your sleep, then claiming he was in imminent danger from you.

And yet, Pence's condemnation, of Trump's call to destroy the Constitution, is much stronger than from most Republicans. Most them either pretend he didn't do what he did, or say they are unaware of it.

@theheretic3764 A lot of words to make a inane lie. Any statement, based upon a false premise, is false. It doesn't matter how many lies, used to justify destruction of the Constitution are used. To do so is evil and wrong.
