@lynefrances726 Trump's response to the bill, that would have given Americans a little money, was to leave town. He did not veto the bill, so his veto could be overridden, he just left. So Congress will have to wait ten days before voting again. That means there will be no money for many people by Christmas. It is not a holiday I celebrate, but I have compassion for the children who will go without food and/or shelter, let alone presents, because of his selfish actions. He pretended to care, then showed he did not, like the lying conman he is.

@nomecreona3829 He's not just stupider, he has strong authoritarian tendencies. Your people lived through Franco. You must understand how afraid many of us are, that this is an attempt to goad the people into rioting, and giving him a chance to declare martial law.
