Having the states lead the roll out was a big mistake. Some states were intelligent, and seeing that 95% of deaths were in those over 50, started with the oldest first, and moved through the over 50 age range. My state was stupid. After vaccinating healthcare people (which is fine) they vaccinated teachers, of any age, and people of target races, and rural areas before the cities. It is moronic to vaccinate teachers, when parents and grandparents of students are not vaccinated. Much of childcare is provided by grandparents. Any state that didn't base vaccination qualifications on age, did it wrong.
