  2. Severe weather disasters have gotten worse over the past 15 years. The drought in the west is longer, the storms in the east are more frequent and stronger. Are you totally oblivious to not have noticed this?

  3. But the green new deal isn't a plan, it is just an aspiration. A real plan would be cap and trade, that even conservatives like. Or copy Canada's carbon tax. That is an actual plan that has been implemented. And those plans don't confuse the matter with impossible jobs programs.

  4. If you live near a fault line, stick frame houses are much better than concrete or brick. A stick frame house will move with a quake, a brick or concrete house falls apart. I lived in a house in the San Fernando Valley, where the Northridge quake left the house mostly intact, just the chimney and cinderblock fence were destroyed.
