  1. Jay Rocket and Steve M, and yet every programmer I know who works for Amazon loves the place. And people who work in their fulfillment centers like their well-paying jobs. And cities love the tax revenue they bring in. And Amazon does have its own fleet of delivery vehicles. And all companies that ship in bulk get a price break from USPS. Yes, Amazon, and other internet retailers, has been the demise of many retailers, just like the advent of the automobile did in many livery services. People like not having to physically go to stores, they like the convenience of shopping by computer. Amazon is not the only internet retailer, just the most successful. Or would you rather Ali Baba took the market?
