  1.  @moos5221  The first written use of the name Georgia for that country is 1320 CE. The colony of Georgia got its name in 1733 CE, clearly after the country. The Russians and Israelis call it Gruziya. Perhaps we should call it by the native name of Sakartvelo.

  2. I was supposed to travel to Israel last month. Now the only way I can go is to move there permanently. But, that means 2 weeks quarantine in a corona hotel once I arrive.

  3. Don't blame our medical system for the fact idiots won't wear masks, and want to go drinking in bars and singing in church. Our problem is one of mindset, not medicine.

  4. If it makes you feel any better, India has not fared well either. Their testing rate is well below the US, so many people who are dying of Covid are not identified. Even so, they had more identified deaths yesterday than Mexico, almost as many as the US.
