  1.  @mbmochinski  Sure California has fires and quakes, but it doesn't have snow so deep it buries houses, tornadoes, hurricanes, overwhelming humidity, or chiggers (I mean the nasty burrowing bugs). I spent one summer in Kansas, and was extremely glad to return to my hometown on the Central California Coast.

  2. It's been smoky in Portland too, but I don't know if it is from wildfires or fires set by wildings.

  3.  SoCal Unrated  There are also fires in Oregon, although not as bad as in California. That smoke has hit BC.
