There were valid reasons, that the American Bar Assoc. said she was unqualified, when Trump nominated her to her position. A lack of knowledge was one of them.

Her decision was poor, but what would investigation do? Are you going to tie up Congress, with impeaching every single unqualified judge, that Trump appointed? There are 254 of them, and most were found unqualified by the ABA.

@chonzen1764 A special master is appointed only when there is privilege, that must be considered. Trump is not a lawyer, so there is not attorney-client privilege. And, he is no longer president, so there is no executive privilege. There was no grounds to appoint a special master at all. And, the assertion, that the government owns all classified material is very strong, because it is obvious to anyone capable of analytical thought.

@keithparker2206 That's true, and that results in even worse problems. You have intense cronyism. And, no matter who the people elect to the legislature, the only laws allowed to stand, are the ones that agree with the ideology of the court. Politicians, who agree with the court's agenda, are allowed to commit any crime they want, without repercussion, and the opposition is indicted for nothing. Our system is not perfect, but it is better.
