  1. Nah, it's more like a tiny number of rabid Democrats keep biting the rest. "Progressives" seem to have forgotten their guy got less than half as many delegates as Biden did. If any group has a mandate, it's the moderates.

  2. You make the mistake of assuming every citizen wants exactly what you do. Legislators, whom you don't agree with, are elected because others have different goals. Some want to take as much as they can from the government, others want the government to take less from them. These are competing goals.

  3. They are government social programs, and while I agree, such programs are like zombies that never die, they are not socialist, as nothing is being seized and run by the state.
