Don Hardcastle Just remaining alive isn't good enough for many people. Before the vaccines, most infected with polio survived, but many were crippled. The same is happening with Covid. About 10% of mildly symptomatic cases end up in long Covid, due to damage to the heart, lungs and brain.

@NowOne3006 So what? That's true for a lot of people, like diabetics. There are countless people, alive today, because of an antibiotic, produced by big pharma. A lot of people with heart conditions, take daily meds. AIDS is no longer a death sentence, because of big pharma. Do you want to return to the middle ages?

The data is only in for the Pfizer, so far.

The US has the most expensive medical care in the world. Finally, there is an upside to paying for the medicine, the rest of the world gets cheaply.

@befree4876 Naturally acquired immunity against Covid has been studied. It is neither as lasting, or broad, as vaccine induced immunity.

@mrjerzheel Actually, a good number of people, who recovered quickly, never developed any antibodies. It's been assumed they recovered through cellular immunity.

Yes, there are studies out there, far more than 15, and they all indicate exactly the opposite of what you claim. The best immunity is among those who had Covid, and then got vaccinated , followed by those who were vaccinated. What you call "natural immunity" was a distant third.
