What field did you get your degree in, that you're such an expert? (My degrees are in microbiology and computer science.) Early on, the CDC was quite good. I got my first warnings reading MMWR in November 2019. It wasn't until Trump put his greasy thumb on the organization, that their papers became scattered. And then, Birx did point us to good sources of realizable data, like healthdata.org out of UW. Their projections, with and without mitigation strategies, were spot on. And, pubmed dropping the paywall made a lot of good journal papers available to the general public. But, seriously, if you expect those unschooled in science or statistics, to understand a scientific paper, you're dreaming. Most Americans don't even understand what four fold means, and clearly are incapable of reasonable risk calculations. If they did understand data, and risk assessment, they'd all be vaccinated.
