  1. Let's hope Republican voters show the same rationality in 2022, that they did in 2020. Notice how many voted for Biden, then for Republican candidates on the rest of the ballot. That shows selectivity. Hopefully, they'll reject the Trump lickers.

  4. While I agree with your definition of socialism, the Democratic party has never espoused that doctrine. Sure, Sanders, who tried to hijack the Democratic party, the same way Trump succeeded in perverting the Republican party, is an avowed Marxist. But, Democratic voters rejected that old fraud twice . 89% of the party is comprised of sane moderates, only 11% is 'progressive'. You don't want the Republican party defined by the few fascists, who are members, don't define the Democratic party by its tiny number of nutcase socialists.

  5. As a person, who knows there are still some sane Republicans left, and hope they can purge their party of the lunatics, I find calling the whole party names counterproductive. Disparage the kooks, but realize that people like Romney, Flake, Cheney and Kitzinger are decent people, despite having different political goals. It isn't as if the Democratic party doesn't have its own lunatics. Sure, the 'progressives' only make up 11% of the party, but they are just as delusional as the Republicans, who claim Biden didn't win. Either a new, centrist party arises, so the majority of voters, who no longer want to be part of either party, have a party they don't despise, or the two current main parties will have to restore their own sanity, by purging the lunatic fringe. Eventually, sane people are going to have to learn to get along again, and name calling doesn't aid that endeavor.
