  1. Putin may be a tyrannical dictator, but he's not strong. A strong man, a brave man, doesn't fly 440 miles northwest of the capitol, when the enemy is marching on that capitol. As the Wagner group approached Moscow, Putin hightailed it to St. Petersburg, which is near the Finnish border. A strong man would have stayed.

  2. I heard, on DW, that he'd been hoping to foment a popular uprising against Putin. While various police forces did nothing to stop the Wagner group's advance, they also did not join his army. This discouraged him from continuing.

  4. When did Erdogan's army turn on him? Every attempted coup Erdogan claimed to have happened was a false flag operation, complete with innocent patsies to take the fall.

  5. Those Ukrainian territories aren't the only occupied land. NATO even assisted the formal takeover of much of occupied Serbia, rather than drive out the Albanian invaders.
