Do they have standards to test the test? What is the percentage of false positives, and false negatives? In the previous SARS epidemic, (closely related to the current virus) 30% of those who recovered never developed antibodies. The older the patient, the less likely they were to develop antibodies, even though they eventually recovered. It was assumed they beat off the disease through cellular immunity (macrophages). With the previous SARS outbreak, the first vaccine developed decreased the body's ability to fight off the disease, by giving the virus a pathway to infect macrophages.

Not even then. My brother died in his home last month, the autopsy showed he died of a respiratory disease. Did they test him when he went to urgent care 3 days before he died? Nope. Did they test his corpse? Nope.
