  2. It has nothing to do with race, it has to do with the organization of society. Bride capture was common among Europeans, but thousands of years in the past. As long as women remain chattel, and treated as just baby producers, this will continue to happen. Why do you think it was a girl's school that was targeted? Education of girls is the way women become equal.
