To sum up what Jordan said: even though my actions and speech contributed to the anger that fueled this violence, I take no responsibility for it, blame the other side for our actions, and refuse to punish the man who incited the mob.

When you demand your political opponents need to resign, because they are on the other side, you are as bad as Trump. Jordan's constituents chose him, just as the nation chose Biden. Are there members of Congress I'd prefer weren't there, yes, mainly the racist ones, but my disgust with them is not a reason for their resignation, I am not among their constituents. The people who elected this turd have the right to vote, and their votes should not be denied.
