@billbillson5082 Nobody claimed that the 2016 election was fraudulent, what was said, and backed up by all of our intelligence agencies, is Trump was illegally assisted by Russian espionage and propaganda.

@Deborahmarie1217 Untrue. Our founding fathers were experimenting with democracy, in a time that all other countries were ruled by monarchs. They didn't know that democracy didn't work, but knew that the few historical examples, like Rome, had devolved into dictatorships. That is why they designed Congress to have more power than the president, and addressed that body in Article I of the Constitution. We were established as a democratic republic, even if all adults did not have the vote at that time.

@JDOTVegas Since the results of the 2020 election were clearly not a tie, the whole question is moot. All the Electoral College votes have been certified, Biden won, the presentation of the results in Congress are purely pro forma. While some idiots can caper like court jesters, to impress the supporters of the would-be orange king, they will not change anything.

@JDOTVegas Once again, you point to the section dealing with the problem of a tie vote. And Biden has a clear majority of Electoral College votes. There is no tie to deal with.

@JDOTVegas It is you that does not understand. If there is a clear majority in the Electoral College, and there is one, the representatives of each state are not required to vote. Did you miss the fact that Joe Biden has many more Electoral College votes than Trump. There is no tie to break.
