Putin wants to bring back the Russian Empire. It would be so ironic if his aggression resulted in the loss of his navy, just like when the last czar attacked Japan.

You can't send in tanks without infantry and air support, without the tanks being destroyed. Have you ever heard a tank move? Stealthy they are not.
