  1. Sometimes the evidence points to the wrong person. It does not require animus to make mistakes. The Netflix show portrays the young men arrested as innocents picked up, and the Fairstein character as utterly unfeeling and not caring. She is shown to start interviews she didn't do, determined to get these guys, regardless of evidence. The show is changes facts so much, it leaves reality behind. I started watching the series, but stopped because it was so grossly spun.
