  1. Santorum repeated a constant NRA talking point that is clearly nonsensical. The claim that areas with strict gun control still have lots of gun violence is absurd. It is due to the fact that there are no borders between places with gun control and places without. Chicago is a prime example. Sure, the city itself has very strict gun control, but there is nothing stopping would-be criminals from going to Indiana or Wisconsin, which have law gun laws, to buy a weapon. In fact the majority of guns used to commit crimes in Illinois come from those two states. Don't believe me?
