  1.  @mariekastler5391  Sorry, that is wrong. First, educated people used to be more likely to vote Republican, than Democrat. That only began to change in this century. Second, US education has been on a downhill spiral, since the 1960s, starting with Johnson's Great Society. That is when the idea, that everyone should have equal opportunity, began to be replaced by the false notion, that everyone has equal ability. That is when people began to sue school districts, that had tracking (where the best students were not held back by the poor students), because their child wasn't smart enough to be included in the top track. That is when assets ceased being given to talented children, who might do great things, and instead given to ESL and special education. The degradation of education is much more a result of ill-applied liberal ideology, than a conservative desire to hold people down.

  2. It is galling, that Trump is not already on trial, but understandable. Under Barr, Trump's AG, DOJ was used as a tool against Trump's enemies. Those who opposed him were investigated for anything and everything, despite turning up no crimes. And, his cronies got away with all sorts of crimes. Biden, and his AG, wanted to go back to a time when US justice was blind, when it did not matter who the accused was. So, Garland is proceeding slowly, silently and cautiously, building up a strong case against Trump. The problem is, his crimes are so many, this is taking a lot of time. Look at how the orange idiot blustered and accused, when his compound was legally searched for stolen documents. Look at how his cult responded, calling a legal search, a "raid", and acting like the criminal is a victim. When Trump gets charged, do expect violent riots to erupt, as his followers do not understand the law.
