@nateh3441 I can read, your last statement implied that vaccines have been recalled. And your excuse is that a talcum powder, made of talc, was recalled after a hundred years? I guess you don't know that when J&J first released its baby powder nobody knew that talc contained asbestos, or that asbestos causes cancer. Thus your example is pathetic. And no, the actual problem is the percentage of individuals who are immune. It is not about any one particular person, but getting enough immunity into the population, that the disease cannot spread. Widespread vaccination is like setting a backfire, to stop a wildfire. If there is no fuel a fire will stop. If there are insufficient naive individuals, an epidemic will stop. Lies and fear, like you're promoting, prevent us getting enough people vaccinated to stem the pandemic. STOP IT!

@diegoalaris Nobody ever claimed vaccination would "stop covid in its tracks", that is utter BS. This insane distrust of expertise existed long before this century began. The problem is too many people think their uneducated opinion holds the same value as that of a real expert, like an immunologist or virologist. Some ignorant goober claims an antiparasitical can cure a viral disease, and all the other fools jump on the stupid bandwagon. Many assumed, once a way to prevent deaths, disability and continued spread of the disease was available, everyone would avail themselves of it. They did not account for how blindingly stupid some people are. Too many ignoramuses are "concerned" about the negligible risks of vaccination, while ignoring the infinitely greater risk of infection. They lack the intellect needed for a real risk analysis, but will not trust the experts, who can make such an assessment. We cannot eliminate the pandemic if we don't have sufficient vaccination coverage, and stupidity is preventing that. That is why mandates are necessary.

@Holly Golightly The reason some need a booster is, the two doses were space too closely together to get a solid immune response. Don't think of it as a booster, but the third shot in a series of three. As far as being a guinea pig, millions have been vaccinated already, and observed for half a year to a year. This is not an experimental vaccine, in any way. If you're worried about the mRNA vaccines, even though they evoke a good immune response without adjuvants, get a vectored vaccine. But, stop lying and claiming you're worried about the novelty, when most vaccine, administered to broad swatches of the public today, had a lot less testing, before they were mandated for all children.

@onenationunderground2360 How ignorant are you? The purpose of a vaccine is prevention, by inducing an immune response, and memory against pathogenic epitopes. The mRNA vaccines, and adenovirus vectored vaccines, are vaccines by the very definition of what a vaccine is. Aspirin is an anti-inflamatory, a treatment given to reduce symptoms, HCQ and ivermectin are antiparisiticals, useless against viruses. HCQ is no longer used to treat malaria, as most Plasmodium are resistant. It can be deadly, in certain individuals, as it so raises oxidative stress, that the RBCs lyse.
