  2. The tenets of the Republican party used to be freedom, less government spending, sensible regulation only, national security and respect for the Constitution. When the so call moral majority came into the party, their support of civil rights weakened, and they gradually went from a pro-choice party, to anti-abortion. But still, real Republicans are conservatives, who stress ethical behavior, not lewd, promiscuous, prevaricating, populist demagogues, willing to betray the country and the Constitution. That is why real Republicans, like Cheney, Kitzinger, Charlie Sykes, and all the former GOP strategists of the Lincoln Project, are doing their best to keep Trump from forever corrupting the country, like he's done their former party.
