@jjtighe8628 I went to Hiroshima and Nagasaki, at the age of ten. I was horrified at the photos in a museum there, and began to cry. An elderly Japanese gentleman told me not to cry, while it was very sad those people died, more Japanese were dying each day, in futile attacks against US forces, and that only the nuclear bomb was able to convince Hirohito to sue for peace. He was very impressed with the way the US built Japan back up, after they surrendered. My father was part of that effort, as a professor of medicine at Tokyo Army General.

@deadcell1 Right, you condemn American police for arresting black criminal, yet have no problem with innocent Russians being arrested for simple, peaceful protest. What happened to those old women, hauled away by Russian police? Did they make it to Siberia yet, or were they just killed outright?
