  2. No, Gore never said he "invented the internet". What he said was he was the lawmaker that pushed the Dept. of Defense to release DARPANET for educational and governmental institutions to use, and also pushed for further development of the internet. And that was all true.

  3.  @jonathanmorrison2225  He was heckled, but only by idiots who had no idea of his importance in the development of the internet. He didn't just get DARPANET released, he pushed for the research funding that resulted in HTML and DNS.

  6. This is hardly rewriting history. We knew, ever before Bush was sworn into office, that Gore had actually received more votes in Florida, so really won that election. This just explains how SCOTUS came to such a corrupt decision.
