When I look at Congress, the most deranged members, in both parties, are the younger ones. A lower age limit makes sense, as you seldom find a wise person under 40. They may think they are wise, but they aren't. Putting an upper age limit or term limits on politicians denies voters experienced representatives.

The decision, about whether or not he continues in the Senate, belongs to his constituents, not you. Everyone does not know that "the elderly are challenged" as that is a falsehood. Some older people have mental problems, many young people do as well. Contrast McConnell to Fetterman, and tell me who is more mentally incompetent.

Yes, the poliovirus can affect the motor cortex, but it doesn't harm the parts of the brain responsible for cognition. Maybe McConnell will end up in a wheelchair, but his mind is still sharp, even if he sometimes can't find the words he wants. I despise the way the man stacked the courts with conservatives, but also dislike the pretense his neural damage from polio disqualifies him.

@DRKrust492 Plenty of people under 30, especially those with a history of serious drug use, display more erratic mental processes. Who do you think is more deranged, MTG or McConnell? If the people of Kentucky want to be represented, in the Senate, by McConnell, it is not your place to interfere.

I get it, you're trying to imply McConnell is too mentally impaired, because he can't hear a reporter's voice, to continue in his job. When you hold the much younger Fetterman, to the same standard, you might have a valid argument. Not before.
