@Mark-db8id Those two studies were performed in monkey kidney cells, which have different receptors on their surface than those on respiratory epithelial cells. In those studies, the amount of ivermectin needed is toxic. All in vivo studies done in proper cell lines, and clinical studies, show ivermectin is both useless and dangerous. If you're basing treatment on cost, rather than efficacy and safety, eat Skittles. They are as useful as Ivermectin, cheaper and safer.

@Mark-db8id CDC is funded by the federal government. Of course Trump cut it funding to less than half. If they got money from pharma, that wouldn't have hurt as badly as it did. The FDA takes money in fees, from pharma, to pay for the approval process. It's just like the money you pay for your driver's license.

@dazed4daze I don't know what your educational level is, so am going to assume you're not trained in biological sciences, and not going to suggest going to pubmed. Instead, I suggest you listen to Vincent Racaniello's YT channel, where trained virologists and immunologists discuss Covid-19 (and other subjects). They have a weekly question and answer session, where you can ask your questions of experts. Dr. Racaniello himself was unsure of the need for a booster. But, then he looked at the clinical data, and decided it was necessary to correct for the overly close spacing of the first two doses.
