  1. Two guys, angling for a permanent gig at CNN, accuse a judge of doing what they are doing, because he is following the letter of the law. I guess it is not just the right, guilty of deflection. If this were a black man, accused of killing members of a white mob, that had attacked him, would they feel differently? Would they say, that despite the danger from that white mob, he should not have protected himself, should not have been armed? Was Rittenhouse an idiot, for going into that riotous mob? Yes. But the men he killed were hardly model citizens, and if he'd been a young black man, attacked by the KKK, he would not have been charged. Even a white idiot has rights. The rule about self incrimination applies to everyone.
