  3. Trump's rant about other Republicans, in charge of elections, being "stupid people" is really indicative of how stupid Trump is. Signature verification must be done before the envelope containing a ballot is opened. Only after the signature is verified, and it has been determined the voter has not already voted, is the envelope opened, and the ballot put into the bin of ballots to be counted. Once that has occurred, you can no longer do a signature verification, because the ballot has been removed from the envelope. Even if a single envelope, in a thousand, was found to have a faulty signature upon reexamining all the envelopes, what would the recourse be? Toss out the thousand good ballots, to eliminate the one bad one? I'm sure that is want Trump wanted, which is just further proof of how stupid, and ignorant of citizen's rights, that he is.
