  1.  @Sagethewise01  Don't less him mess with you, some people are proud of their ignorance. Just came back home from dancing this weekend at the Vancouver JCC. British Columbia is lovely. (The only thing wrong with Vancouver is the prices of homes have gone up astronomically, since Hong Kong went back to China.I have a friend who had to leave her professorship at UBC because of the cost of housing.) With the gig economy, and people working several part-time jobs, it is a crime that healthcare in the US is tied to our jobs. Canada got that right, wish we had.

  3. The vast majority of voters, even gun owners, want some sane gun control. Executive action, if Congress is too paralyzed by lobbyist's money to act, sounds like winning issue.

  4. Some hospitals overcharge and give ridiculous ER bills, other do not. But, all hospitals have patients that cannot pay, and their treatment cost is passed on to others. You want to cu the cost of health care, without costing the American taxpayer? Index the cost of US prescription drugs to the costs of Canada and western Europe. Big Pharma often claims they have to charge those in the US more because they have to spend money of advertisements here. Simple, change the laws back, so that they may not advertise, except in medical journals, again.
