@joebeal4212 That was the approach Cuba took. They had many AIDS cases back when it was called GRID. You can't do that in a free society.

I am.

@DulceN Like other mouthpieces, he was saying don't buy N95 masks, save them for healthcare workers. Nobody but Trump, and his minions, said don't wear any mask.

Speak for yourself. I want to get the vaccine. I'd prefer the Moderna, but will take whatever I can get. I want to be able to travel again.

People have been trying to develop an AIDS vaccine, since the 1990s. The problem is, any vaccine will make T cells more likely to take up (to kill) a virus. But, HIV not only kills T cells, it replicates in them. They've made several experimental vaccines, that produce an immune response against AIDS, but they all cause immunopathy. Coronavirus cannot replicate in T cells, so it is an easier problem.

@brentpham1155 Actually, SARS is more contagious and deadly than Covid-19, but those with it always have symptoms. It is the spread, by asymptomatic individuals, that has made this disease so hard to contain.

@zoobrizz How? All the viruses known to cause cancer are DNA viruses. This is an RNA virus. And the vaccines are mRNA. How will it cause cancer? Name the pathway involved. Cite your data source. You are just throwing out BS.

Trump received artificial IgG. That is too expensive for most Covid patients.

@DulceN Thank you.

What did you expect him to do? Remember he was dealing with an egotist who does not like the truth. Barr did everything Trump wanted, but as soon as he stood up for the truth about elections, he was out.

Name one. Both my neighbors are physicians. They can't wait to get it.

@noneshere That's funny. Who were the presidents when we had severe economic downturns? Hoover, Carter, Reagan, Bush I, Bush II, Trump. Only one Democrat, the rest were Republicans. Hmmmm.

@wades4844 What stats? Every stat I saw showed companies prefer two-fers.

@brentpham1155 Actually, I have two friends who have been working on DNA vaccines for over 20 years. mRNA vaccines have been in development for at least 15 years. The hard part was developing the right ionizable lipid coating, to protect them from nucleases. And the thing about "flu technology" is it relies on a committee making the correct educated guess about which strains will be the biggest problem in the coming year. Sometimes they guess wrong. We know what coronavirus strain is the biggest problem now. That is a certainty.
