Wow, Zakaria shows a complete and total ignorance of what is happening in Israel. Netanyahu is not a populist. Most populists are very recent additions to their country's political scene. Netanyahu, upon forming his coalition, will be the longest serving PM in Israel's history. People again voted for him, not because they feared change, but because they recognized that he has been the best PM ever for the interests of the people. The economy has grown and the country is safer. He has proved his ability to form coalitions of parties with disparate interests, which an amazing cat herding ability. He can get along difficult men, like Trump and Putin. Netanyahu is a statesman in the class of Churchill. Trying to cast him as a populist demagogue only shows one's lack of comprehension of the situation.
